Little House is a morning preschool program. The hours are 8:30-11:30am. It runs September through June. It is conveniently located near 580,  in the Estudillo Estates neighborhood in San Leandro, California. (Full day care available also until 5pm.)

 It is for ages 18mths-5years.

The program takes place in a large, sunny living room of a  family home and follows guidelines of the Reggio Emilia early childhood educational philosophy. It is project based, following the childrens' interests in an unrushed pace of discovery and project development. It is a  small group. There are never more than 6 children in attendance during any given time. Environment is a key player in activities. The indoor area is full of beautiful, comfortable and safe furnishings and decor. The outdoor play area is a 'Naturescape" and has a sand area, gravel paths, fruit trees and lots of shade.The curriculum follows the children. Where they lead the focus will follow. 

There are parent conferences twice a year. This way the teacher and parent can really work together on how to best support the individual child.
